oogie is a synaesthesia engine,
turning your images into sound - live!
your camera triggers music live based on how much colors change in your environment

From one pixel we pull out a yellow color.
This color happens to be about midway through the Hue Gradient, which is mapped to a range of MIDI notes.
Yellow becomes E4!

Digitally, colors can be represented in many ways, using differing values.
oogie can break any color down into nine separate color channels
Each of these channels produces a different value, and the values can be used to select notes to play, volume, or pan.
Examples of the three basic methods of specifying color digitally:
RGB: Describes image colors on computer screens, additive color
CMY: Used in Printers, subtractive color
HSL: Originally used to describe analog color
